I came here for a winter licious dinner and ended up taking the four course dinner which was slightly more. I was very happy and impressed by each and every dish. The ambiance was dark and sexy. The only downfall was my first cocktail was so sour and tart. It was almost undrinkable. I would stick to the classic Negroni. I really recommend the carpaccio and the tiramisu which were over-the-top delicious !

Came here for Valentine’s Day. Service was fantastic even as busy as it was. Food was also good. There was a set menu so I will definitely have to come back for their regular menu. Portion size was also good, left extremely full. Good atmosphere too.

Traditional Italian restaurant steps from St Lawrence market, review written before invoice. All pasta and desserts (except gelatos) made on site. Our 2 pastas especially the meat balls spaghetti was wonderful and tastes like the ones we had in Rome and Orvieto. Ink squid pasta (see photo) was a little spicy but very tasty. Desserts were out of this world and tasted like they are from 100 years old recipes. It’s good that I am sitting against a red brick wall or else I would have thrown my grappa glass backwards.

I am absolutely amazed by the service we received!! We were there with a group of over 20 people and we all had an incredible experience. The food was wonderful and they even allowed for separate bills. We had a very reasonable priced set menu of 3 dishes. Each course was perfectly sent out by the kitchen so that we were all served quickly and had our courses at the same time as each other. Each dish had great balance of flavors and textures. Bravo! Our servers were so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. One of the best group dinning experiences I've had in a long time!

This place had done Italian cuisine right Beef carpaccio (26) (5/5): topped with roasted hazelnut, parmigiano and mushroom bits. Each slice was tender and thin and with a blend of flavours: savoury, sweet and sour from the vinegar. Campanelle Di Nero (29) (4.5/5): cooked to al dente, topped with a shrimp, nudja sausages in sauce made with tomato, lemon and white wine. The sauce was slightly hot, I hoped the sauce could coat each campanelle better! Pistachio financier cake (16) (6/5): star of the meal! With pistachio cream and strawberry on top, paired with ricotta gelato and candied pistachio. The sourness of the strawberry contrasted and complemented the sweetness of the cake, along with the gelato that softened the cake. This dessert stole the show.

Food was delicious the service was amazing. Kudos to Russell. He was so lovely. We ordered the focaccia...the best thing ever. So soft and fluffy. My husband loved the lobster risotto and the rigatoni bolognese was so flavourful and yummy. The cherry chocolate cake was also so delicious and a great end to the night. The sweet dessert wine was also very nice. Overall everything was amazing ..the service and the food. Definitely coming back.
